I decided to move my presentation otherwise It would have been today and I would not have been ready. I had a lot to do over spring break so I didnt have time to work on my project as much as I would have liked. I just needed more time to finish my interviews and get my powerpoint ready. I want to have a lot of time to practice what i'm going to say because I want it to be lengthy so I dont forget anything. It's also been really hard for me to find time to record my final song, because i'm still having a lot of trouble with the strumming and whenever I record I mess up. I was practicing for a while trying to get the perfect video, but I felt that none of them exceeded my expectations so i'm going to keep trying.

week before presentation ..
I'm so nervous! I'm working on my PowerPoint and getting everything ready but I don't feel comfortable giving the presentation in the time that I have left. I think I need more time to perfect things and make sure it's the best it can be. Going away over spring vacation is really stressing me out because I am not going to have any time to work on it! I think I'm going to move my presentation into May just to make sure everything is how it should be.

Problems :(
April 12, 2011
I finally learned my entire song, and obviously theres room for perfection so I'm still working on it. I got all the strumming patterns down but there is one big problem; I cant sing the chorus and play at the same time!!! At first I thought that it would take some practice after being able to play the whole song, but I practiced a lot and can only do it half the time. After practicing for an hour I was able to sing and play ONCE out of many tries. I had to concentrate really hard and be alone in my house to do so. I know that I will get nervous and mess up in front of an audience because it takes so much concentration towards the strumming patterns that I will lose it while singing. To solve my problem I decided that I should just record myself trying until I get it perfect, and show that recording during my presentation. This way, I wont loose concentration in front of an audience and not be able to play to my best ability!
About three weeks ago I recorded myself practising my song so I can show the audience how much I improved from then based on my final video.

AHHHH !
april 6, 2010
I am so frustrated right now!!! I pretty much know most of my song, obviously theres a lot of room for improvement and perfection. Whenever I sing along with it though I lose my strumming pattern and then I freeze and mess up! It's really frustrating because when I do it without singing I never mess up because I only have to think about one thing: strumming. It's really stressing me out because whenever I have to sing the chorus I lose the strumming pattern because its complex, and I get lost. I really dont know what to do to about this chorus because whenever I try and think I have the strumming down, I go to sing, and I cant remember the strumming pattern. This is not good!
